Blog Feature + A Sneak Peak

Hurray!!! Today is our 11month blog anniversary and we have a blog feature.

Oyinlola Sobowale is my blog crush and has become so many things to me in such a short time; a friend and a client. I cherish relationships a lot and with my business, it goes beyond the contract. I get to know my clients and their personality, this helps you as a decorator to pull together personal details and work them into the final vision of their home.

She was one of the winners of the last giveaway (yea, she got one of the cutest pillows i made and she adores it) and guess what? I am doing a decor makeover for her new home. There's a book shelve in Oyinlola's living room that i wanted to do away with but in getting to know her, i understand she loves to read a lot and cherishes that piece so, instead of doing away with it, it shall find a way in her space.

Work is in progress and she is already excited. Below is a "before" and "not yet an after" picture of some part of the decor project. Until the complete reveal, let me know what you think of the sneak peak!

Before

Not yet an After

PS: This post was scheduled to go out yesterday but for whatever reason it didn't send so read with yesterday in mind and do have a great week ahead......

So you caught the virus too... Lol. that was how my post on Monday morning post varnished into thin air, until I sent my team to retrieve it.

Meanwhile, nice transformation. Is that wallpaper there? Dont think i like the presence of that standing fan.
Anyways, can't wait to see what else you are going to introduce.

Great work.
Cheers!

Wow, a blog on interior decor! Great stuff!
I love r decor! I've never actually tried renovating anything but its always so amazin see how interior decor can transform a space.
I've been meaning to help my friend do a makeover (his house is a really boring/dead color) and needs spicing up.
Maybe I'll get some tips from here

Whao! Wait I must say I love your new blog theme. Beautiful and colourful. I love colours!

You are good at what you do, Nkem. The decor looks like it's already ready (if my sentence is not correct, pardon me. Lol)

I am doing great Nkem... So I act like you didn't see the standing fan and I am trying to imagine the complete decor revealed, then like Amaka, I'll say that it looks like it's ready already o. lol. Though somehow, I think the wall is very bare and the spot where the fan is should be replaced with a verse or some art stuff (what do they call them sef?).

Again, can't wait to see this project at it's finished state. Meanwhile, great transformation on your blog... this theme brings the this blog more alive.
Cheers!
